If you own a .co.uk org.uk ltd.uk you can now register a domain with using just .uk
For example www.netserve.co.uk is now www.netserve.uk

Currently domain owners with existing registrations have first refusal on domains with owners of .co.uk domains getting the first choice on the equivalent .uk domain.
If you are taking advantage of the reserved rights system you must ensure that you are the owner of the corresponding domain and that all of the contact and registration details on the new domain name match the old domain.
It is advisable to view the Nominet whois system before attempting to register .uk domains.
